For their 4th he covered his near post but still got beaten, hopefully just a bad day at the office.
I thought it was a reasonably decent game and we were playing some good stuff through Bate and Powell. Unfortunately we don’t have a clinical side at the minute in terms of putting the ball in the net. Other than the penalty I can’t recall a shot on target (although the shot from Fevrier against the bar was unlucky) whereas they made Corey put in a couple of decent saves and had the effort against the post.
I thought Powell looked up for it last night, alongside Bate I think they were good together.
Lacked a little bit especially first half in the wide areas for me and looked more threatening when the attacking subs came on. Tanto although upfront on his own he had that chance I think just before half time where he went too far wide with the ball instead of shooting, he’s a little worrying for me.
