Definitely a better team particularly once Diamond and Fevs came on. You’re right I thought we contained them most of the game especially the second half where we had most of the ball.

We put a shift in but I can’t work out whether we were good and nullified them or they we’re poor, I suspect a bit of both.

A good point under the circumstances of being 1-0 down so early on. Take it and move onto Tuesday now.

For their 4th he covered his near post but still got beaten, hopefully just a bad day at the office.

Frustrating result really, I thought we were poor at times yesterday, we should have tried to get a second in the first half, I think had we have done that they may have crumbled. Instead they got stronger and came into it in the second half especially after their goal as you’d expect.

Fair to say we looked pretty ordinary at times compared to other games this season? - hopefully a one off and we’re going to get plenty of these, plenty of tests against better opposition.

It all seemed a fairly routine and comfortable win in the end for County, not one player looked out out of place in League One. Of course we’ll play much tougher teams and Cambridge are tipped by the bookies to go down.

Wooton was my man of the match, special mention for Collar, Pye & Horsfall, I thought they were impressive!
