@admin makes a lot of sense as Tanto has that pace in his locker that Wootton doesn’t have and against tired legs you’d probably double or triple his chances of scoring a goal or 2. I just think Olaofe could be a constant warning sign for that Orient defence which would prevent them pushing up and trying to push us back into our own half. Both offer a threat though and without meaning to disrespect Leyton Orient we should win comfortably either way. It’s the big games where it’ll be interesting to see who Challinor sides with, as it stands right now if we played Birmingham away tomorrow is Challinor picking Wootton or Olaofe?

RETURN TO WINNING WAYS? Stockport County vs Leyton Orient EFL League One Preview@Hatter93 I think either won’t harm us i just feel it’s important to get Tanto minutes in League One, his goals midweek aswell make it a good time to bring him in. I think being honest Wootton probably will start just hoping to see Tanto start sooner rather than later.

Andy Mangan's Real Madrid Move OFF! County Players RETURN From INJURY! Stockport County News@admin it will be tough, we’ll just have to hope he doesn’t lose interest and can use this as fuel to prove himself further so maybe one day he can get a move similar to that not that there’s many tho i guess.
Realistically he’s not been coaching that long and he’s only been a County since March so he may look at it and think this time it wasn’t to be but if County have another strong season and who knows maybe even promotion then he’s only really one step away from the big time. If i was Challinor i’d be pointing to examples like McKenna who has done remarkably well as a young coach/manager.
If he can remain professional and not let it knock him back too much then that would be brilliant purely from a County viewpoint but of course he’ll be hugely disappointed right now.

Unofficial Confirmation: Andy Mangan set to join Real Madrid, as per The Athletic@Hatter93 speaks volumes about the level of coaching we have available to us, someone reminded me the other day of the goalkeeper coach who went to Newcastle about 2 seasons ago.
This is stuff of dreams for those that remember being stuck in the National League North for many years with essentially little to no hope of being in this position today.
Hopefully just another sign of County heading in the right direction and it’ll be interesting to see now if we go fairly high profile for the replacement. I assume County have been aware of this being on the cards for a few weeks given it was rumoured recently.

Mangan to Marid? -
Steve Bruce takes over at BlackpoolFor League One it’s actually probably a very decent appointment, he’s had promotions before as a manager maybe just not Premier League level, be interesting to see how he does especially after so long out. Reckon he would’ve spoke to ex team mate Mark Hughes prior to accepting the job as he was Bradford manager for a while.

Accrington (A) - EFL Trophy - Match ThreadPositives for individuals such as Stretton, wasn’t the best game and i think 4-1 slightly flatters us but we were miles better in the second half and players came on and had an impact too like Barry and Camps. Overall a good run out just gutted there’s no match for 11 days now.

Mangan to Marid?@Hatter93 Certainly out there having said that i’m sure stranger things have happened. If there’s anything in it then it would be hard to stand in his way and would be a great opportunity for him personally. Part of me hopes it is genuine and he does go as it’ll show that being at County can be a brilliant stepping stone move for both players and backroom staff alike. In result maybe being able to use that to beat other clubs to players and staff in the future.

Mansfield (A) - Match ThreadGoing with a 2-2 draw, our record isn’t great against Mansfield and they know us better than most in this league. Think this could be a really good game for a League One neutral and a bit of a nervy one for both sets of fans.
I expect a relatively unchanged team from Bristol last weekend and hopefully come away with a point minimum. If we get a point and Barry keeps his scoring up it’ll be another really positive weekend i reckon.
