Full-Time: Accrington Stanley 1-4 County
Stretton (2), Camps & Barry the scorers.
I wasn’t bothered about the game, well I should say the competition rather but i thought it was quite an enjoyable game generally.
Stretton on the score sheet twice, Powell back from injury, Bailey getting a full 90 etc. Plenty of positives, well played County.
Positives for individuals such as Stretton, wasn’t the best game and i think 4-1 slightly flatters us but we were miles better in the second half and players came on and had an impact too like Barry and Camps. Overall a good run out just gutted there’s no match for 11 days now.

It’ll give us chance to get more players back hopefully. Positives are Stretton & Powell back for me but yes no game in 11 days isn’t great 🤪.

Anyone else think Wootton looked a little frustrated tonight? He was getting fouls given against him that were blatantly not fouls.
I think it was more disbelief with the ref that they’d actually been given against him. The one on the keeper for me was the worst decision, he just stood there Infront of the keeper and the ref blew.
Having said that he’ll be no stranger to this sort of treatment by refs and the coaching staff will be telling him to just carry on with his game I’m sure.

I’m in the same boat as you Hatter, it’s labelled as the competition where the so called big teams have their U21s playing, record lows for attendance and so on, that aside I did enjoy what I saw tonight, we rightly won with the team we put out.

Any idea if Accrington put out a full strength side last night?
Yes mate they did. Generally a good win in the end.
