Steve Bruce has been appointed as Blackpool’s new manager after almost two-years out of management .

For League One it’s actually probably a very decent appointment, he’s had promotions before as a manager maybe just not Premier League level, be interesting to see how he does especially after so long out. Reckon he would’ve spoke to ex team mate Mark Hughes prior to accepting the job as he was Bradford manager for a while.

I always imagined Bruce managing Salford because of his utd link with Neville and co.

He’ll probably do ok there for a bit and get results because of the new manager bounce but they’ve not got the money to compete and I’d expect them to finish mid-table really.
